![]() ![]() School Calendar: Students enrolled in the VVA option will follow the VVA Academic Calendar, which is not the same as the FCPS calendar for the 2021-22 school year.Any materials needed that are typically on student supply lists (i.e., pencils, markers, paper, etc.) will be the responsibility of the parent to provide. Any non-consumable items will remain the property of FCPS, and will be returned at the close of the 2021-22 school year. For items such as workbooks or materials that may be required, FCPS will work with VVA to provide those materials to the student for use in the program. Devices and Technology: FCPS will continue to provide students with a chromebook to access the VVA platform.Grades will be reported following FCPS reporting processes, so students in the VVA option will still receive a report card or progress reports from FCPS, and grades will count as FCPS grades for the 2021-22 school year. Grading and Reporting of Progress: Student work will be assigned and evaluated by VVA teachers using the FCPS grading scales.Middle and high school student attendance is considered a combination of class participation, log-ins to access learning materials and assignments, and assignment completion.
